A tall, perennial plant, Lemongrass has a subtle citrus flavor and is used in Asian, is native to the tropical countries of India, Cambodia, Indonesia, China, Guatemala, Sri Lanka and Malaysia Lemongrass is a tropical, grassy plant used in cooking and herbal medicine. Extracted from the leaves and stalks of the lemongrass plant, lemongrass oil has a powerful, citrus scent. It’s often found in soaps and other personal care products. Aromatically, Lemongrass Essential Oil blends well with essential oils in the citrus, wood, mint and herbaceous families. Like Geranium Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil, Lemongrass Essential Oil can easily overpower a blend, so use it minimally at first.

Direction for Use
Diffusion: use three to four drops in the diffuser of choice.
Topical use: dilute 3 drops in 10ml base oil and apply to desired area. Always dilute with base oil / carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity. Lemongrass Essential Oil can be helpful when carefully used in very-very low dilution by those that are challenged with acne-prone skin
